  • I’m a writer, too!

On 12.01.09, I estimated that I had about 32,000 words left to write to complete my first draft of the opening book in my paranormal mystery series, THE LOST & FOUND.

    Here's my progress updated 2.12.10:

    33% of 32,000 (10,648 wds)

My rates for editorial and coaching services vary depending upon the services requested and rendered.

On average, I charge $75/hour for coaching work, developmental book editing, and platform building consultation and direction. Most coaching and consulting sessions occur weekly or every other week for either 3o minutes or 1 hour depending upon the arrangements made with clients. Sessions are generally prepaid or paid per session for the first three months. Invoicing costs me time and money, so I only offer this option to established clients who have shown reliable payment habits.

Book-length manuscript editing costs $1000 minimum and is typically prepaid by the client based on my overall estimate (however, a 50-50 payment schedule can be arranged). These projects require at least 4 weeks to complete, as well.

I teach private workshops and offer lectures and seminars for a minimum of $100/hour not including travel and/or lodging expenses.

I am very open to sponsorship arrangements with businesses and nonprofits in which I am able to offer free workshops to the public.

I am also happy to participate in fundraising events; please contact me directly to discuss the details of potential arrangements.
